This is a quick tutorial on how to change the name servers for your domain at Namecheap to point to RapidTechHosting's servers.

Step 1.) Go to Namecheap.com and at to top-right hand corner, click on My Account. Click Here for Picture.

Step 2.) Click 'View' on 'Number of domains in your account' or, go to 'Quickly Modify One of My Domains' and type in the domain. Click Here for Picture.

Step 3.) Once you are in your domain settings, you will see a bar to the right that has items like 'General', 'E-Mail Management', etc. Click on 'Transfer DNS to Webhost' under 'General'. Click Here for Picture.

Step 4.) Once in this area, click on 'Specify custom DNS...'. After this, you may type in your name servers. Our name servers are as follow: 'NS1.RAPIDTECHHOSTING.COM' and 'NS2.RAPIDTECHHOSTING.COM'. After you type in your name servers in the appropriate slots, click on 'Save Changes'. Click Here for Picture.

Step 1A.) To register name servers for your reseller or dedicated, go to 'Advanced Options' and then, 'Nameserver Registration'. Click Here for Picture.

Step 1B.) Once here, you will be asked to register IP Address's for each name server. Use the IP Address's that you got in your welcome email. For this example, I will be using '8.8.8.8' and '8.8.8.9'. Click Here for Picture.

Congrats! You have successively registered and transferred name servers with Namecheap! If you need help in making sure that you did this correctly, go to whois.net and type in your domain. If your nameservers match the site's then, your all set to go!.
